Bernd M. Joerss born 1941, completed his education in exporting in 1961 and first worked at the Deutsche Bank. Experience at the companies Nordevit, Ultramar und Reisman Corporation laid the foundation for B.M.P. GmbH in 1979, which is today a subsidiary of B.M.P. Pharma Trading AG. Since going public in 2001, Mr. Joerss has been the majority shareholder.

Alain J. Bourdichon, born 1947. Studies in the sector of material Research and Industrial Applications and then studies at the Management Institute (ESAP). 1969 employed in Cameroon as technical manager for the Railway Project "Transcamerounais, Cogefar/Hochtief" followed by employments as technical managers and head buyer for commodities and industrial as pharmaceutical production plants, in Germany, France, Algeria. 1983 to 2005 moved in the pharmaceutical industry first as export manager and followed further studies in the sector of pharmacy and specialisation in pharmacology and parasitology. 1989 participation in a research project at La Laguna University, Tenerife, and collaboration with other universities in France, India, China, Japan, Kenya, aimed at the treatment of, and development of medicines to treat, sleeping sickness, malaria and leishmaniasis. Since then we have registered number of patents, international publications (contributions to international conferences) date from this period. Currently the Head of Research and Development, production and marketing at TROPMED GmbH in Parchim, Germany.
