One the main activity of the company TROPMED GmbH is the research in co-operation with other scientists of universities and research institutes in Europe, Africa as well as Asia. Further formulas for the development from veterinarian products against the sleeping sickness and malaria were compiled and developed in co-operation with research institutes in Germany, China, Japan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, France and Switzerland, against the sleeping sickness and malaria Several publications over these research work and developments of medicines against the animal sleeping sickness have been published in Japan, Europe and Africa (s. International Scientific Publications).

With the university of Changchun we are working on the development of a new drug carrier system based on Liposome and with a research laboratory in France we have developed a new solvent for solution for injection as alternative to propylene glycol which is already available on the market. The new solvent is less toxic as Propylene Glycol.

With the research team from the University of Berlin (FU-Berlin) we collaborate on the development of a new drug carrier system based on Nano Technology developed from the Free University of Berlin (FU-Berlin) (www.aapspharmaceutica.com). On the basis of the excellent test results obtained with the Liposomal Diminazene against protozoa and in order to optimise the concentration and dosage as well as to reduce the toxicity und to increase the effectiveness, a new drug TRYPLASM as Nano-Particles has been developed and will be testing. As Nano-Particles the injection solution offers efficiency and stability, which were never reached before. This singular injection solution facilitates the treatment of the principal tropical diseases and guarantees with absolute sterility, optimal compatibility and constant long-term effect. In the near future we are planning to develop new vitamin and antibiotic drug combinations which are based on Nano-Particles.
